CONTINUING EDUCATION
Training & Certification Leader: LEARN MORE
Encouraging Continued Education.
Today’s organizations recognize the importance of diversity in customers, employees, and supply chains. A diverse supply chain provides opportunities to produce innovative products and solutions. Diverse businesses, typically smaller in size, can adapt more quickly to meet technical challenges even amid market changes.
More and more customers, including the U.S. Government, are setting expectations for increasing opportunities for small and diverse businesses with contractual requirements.
Individuals who complete ASDP’s training and pass the exam become certified Supplier Diversity Professionals. Certification provides evidence of a professional’s ability to understand the legislative history of Supplier Diversity, develop sourcing strategies, participate in Mentor-Protege Programs, develop subcontracting and participation plans, evaluate and report performance, prepare for customer reviews & audits, and design a world-class Supplier Diversity Program within an organization.
ASDP’s team are all active practitioners in Supplier Diversity, bringing up-to-date education regarding changing regulations, best practices and innovative ideas. WIth ASDP, you are plugged into a network of subject matter experts.
Certificate Program.
Certification by ASDP formally documents that you are qualified to meet your organization’s supplier diversity requirements and empowers you to design a world-class Supplier Diversity program within your organization.

Through participation in ASDP’s certification program, you gain access to ASDP’s network of Supplier Diversity Professionals, as well as continuing education and networking opportunities.
Re-Certification.
ASDP certification is valid for three years. At the end of the third year, you may recertify for an additional three years after completing continuing education actions.
New and certified Supplier Diversity Professionals are always welcome to attend additional trainings as needed. With changing supplier diversity requirements, we work to remain informed, dynamic, and adaptive to provide the most up-to-date educational resources to new and well-credentialed professionals alike. The cost to re-certify is $295.00.
