Who We Are.
ASDP is a non-profit corporation offering education, certification, professional development, and peer networking opportunities. Since 2003, ASDP has been educating and certifying Supplier Diversity Professionals of all experience levels. ASDP’s founders and current team members are all full-time Supplier Diversity Professionals, volunteering their time and expertise to advance the profession.
Recognizing many Supplier Diversity Professionals come into their roles with little to no formal training, ASDP was created to address the educational gap and provide networking opportunities within the field. Whether you’re new to the community or a tenured Supplier Diversity Professional seeking to upgrade your existing skills, we are proud to offer the only formal training and certification program designed for Supplier Diversity Professionals.
Certified supplier diversity professionals demonstrate the requisite knowledge and experience necessary to administer a world-class supplier diversity program within their organization(s). We’re here to help!
ASDP currently offers Level 1 training and certification in partnership with the Institute for Supply Management.
Level 1 is appropriate for beginner to intermediate level professionals and is a fantastic refresher for more tenured Supplier Diversity Professionals.
Level 2, offering intermediate to advanced training, is currently in development. Stay tuned for updates regarding this program!
