TRAINING & EVENTS
Supplier Diversity Begins with You.
ASDP’s team is exclusively composed of trainers who are Supplier Diversity Professionals themselves. This means they know the obstacles you face in your role. Over the years, we have experienced and successfully addressed many of the challenges Supplier Diversity Professionals face, including the following:
Organizations with only one Supplier Diversity Professional to manage their program.
Limited or non-existent training for the role.
Internal stakeholders who view supplier diversity as competing with other supply chain goals.
The perception that diverse businesses are too small or unsophisticated to meet technical and operational challenges.
Customer requirements for reporting, audits, etc.
Improving performance to goals and objectives.
Describing the business benefits of a Supplier Diversity Program.
Engaging leadership at the appropriate levels.
Communicating to a broad audience.
ASDP’s trainers have faced all these challenges and more.Through training, you will learn how to apply best practices to overcome these challenges, while enhancing your own ability to think more strategically within your own organization.
One of ASDP’s principles is to have a team of seasoned and active Supplier Diversity Professionals. This ensures the educational content is most relevant to the needs of our students and up to date on the constantly changing body of Supplier Diversity regulations. ASDP provides students with the latest and greatest content in the field.
ASDP’s primary focus is on educating and growing Supplier Diversity Professionals. Our training events are held virtually and in-person across the United States. Please review our Event Calendar for upcoming sessions.
ASDP currently offers Level 1 training and certification.
Level 1 is appropriate for beginner to intermediate level and is a fantastic refresher for more tenured Supplier Diversity Professionals.
