Stacey Washington
Trainer
Stacey Washington is a Small Business Liaison Officer with Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC). She is accountable for the daily and long-term strategic goals and initiatives of the Company’s Supplier Diversity Program Office. Stacey has over 15 years of experience in global supply chain management, supplier diversity, and compliance.
Ms. Washington believes it is important to advocate for small diverse businesses because they are the foundations of local communities and are generally community leaders that develop and execute charitable community efforts and provide employment opportunities.
She is a certified Supplier Diversity Specialist through Alliance of Supplier Diversity Professionals, Inc. (ASDP); certified Six Sigma Green Belt through Textron’s Continuous Improvement Program, holds a certificate in Federal Contract Management Essentials through The University of Alabama in Huntsville; and certified Program Management through The George Washington University TwentyEighty Strategy Execution Program. She is a graduate of the National African American Women’s Leadership Institute (NAAWLI) and previously served as board chair for the organization.
Stacey graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport.
Personally, Ms. Washington enjoys mentoring young women through the Big Sis Lil Sis Program.
In 2018, she created this program to assist young women with understanding the importance of self-empowerment through goal setting; developing a positive self-image by understanding how life experiences shape their authenticity; and using self-leadership to influence positive thinking, feelings, and behaviors.
