Claudia Jara is the Supplier Diversity Representative for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC). In her role, she is responsible for assisting MFC in meeting its small business subcontracting goals, engaging small businesses in procurement and new initiatives. Claudia works with the Small Business Innovation Research / Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) program at Lockheed Martin and engages Business Resource Groups (BRG)s in hosting events that allow small businesses to share their products and services. She is also experienced in the Indian Incentive Program and has trained buyers in a variety of subjects, as they relate to small business. Claudia has been a certified Supplier Diversity Professional since 2010. She is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University (Los Angeles, CA), earning her degree in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration. She also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
